My sister has been bitten by the redecorating bug again. But this time for real. She's so proud of her end results, and truly our tiny apartment looks more like something you'd find in a home and lifestyle magazine. She's got an excellent eye for composition and design, and notices all kinds of small details that brings each element together with the bigger picture. I'm so proud of her, too!
I got to thinking about how I would decorate if I could have free range to do so and got a few ideas together. Of course, as time evolves one's taste, I know this is not the sole style I like, but rather a style that I just happen to like and have liked it for some time. Just a few ideas are posted here.
With that being said, here we go!
Yes, this is at my local Forever 21! :p

It would be great to create a room where photographs like these work well.

This is an illustration by Ruben Toledo in one of my favorite books: The Bombshell Manual of Style. Too much? Maybe if it were more spread out...
